Any recommendations for reviving a plastic saddle?

Yep, junkies use it when they cook gear on a spoon, although mrs griff may well just clean things with it.

I would tickle up the smooth bits as best you can and leave it at that, the textured stuff is far too textured on those Brooks saddles to be sanding

What would you tickle them with?

Progressive grades of wet or dry followed by a polish. You can get plastic polishes but t cut or probably peek would work just as well on a black seat I imagine :)
