anodizing cost averages

I've never had anything re - anodized so i'm after your experiences of cost ( not included posted either way ) for cranks, rims, hubs etc.

did you have to strip them of the old anno before you sent them and did you have to prepare them. For example if it was a used set of rims with brake rub dud you have to smooth it all out.

I use Jay on facebook (shes on here too). She does all the prep etc, so no need to. I had a set of rims done (and some smalls) I cant remember the exact cost but it was around £80 plus return post.
