So how can you tell a genuine BW from a Dutch imposter? Just serials? Or any other clues?

It's a completely different frame design. All of the telltale BW features (brazed welds, small bar between the looptails behind the BB, excessive looptails etc...) are all absent, plus as you say, the serial number. I'd be able to tell just by looking at it.

The Wheels track was the first I ever visited as a kid , awesome place. I can remember shitting myself as we drove through Bordesly Green , it was like Calcutta!

I went the old wheels track with jase (sweetbeats)about 6 years back,but the track was just overgrown and neglected,think we found an old wheels sign, did a thread on it but it may have been lost in the crash,I think Birmingham bmx club might have tried to get something going from there before they went to Perry Barr,it's mainly known for go karting now :daumenhoch:
