Value of a Skyway TA...
generallee:
Hi guys, thanks for the recent help with the value of a survivor Super Burner that my neighbour has (had!), he sold it to a collector friend for exactly what you guys thought it was worth.
I bumped into an old friend today who tells me he still has his old Skyway TA. I know it does not have any original parts on it - but the frame could well worth be a resto, which I might be keen to do myself. Do you know how much a slightly bruised chrome TA frame is worth these days? I have no idea what to offer him for the bike, pretty much the parts will need to be scrapped I think and are not decent branded bits, but I told him I'd ask on Rad what it might be worth for him to sell to me.
Cheers for now, I'm afraid I have no photo (yet!) but just a ball park idea of what they seem to go for if anyone knows would be v helpful!
Cheers,
Steve

probably depends if it has original forks, at a guess with original forks and needing a resto about £400. just the frame probably £250-£300.

Nice one - I think it doesn't have original forks... will see if he'll part with it and will post up pics when I get 'em!

Agree with the above. More if it's an XL frame :daumenhoch:
