BITD most of us had shite burners and was fed up with my knees just missing the bars due to the shite frame dimensions ..
The best seat post to give you the distance was the lay back seat..
Back then you didn't give it a fook about stressing the frame ..if it did go which happened to me twice (not near the seat post) you would get a replacement as I remember they give you a life time warranty on frame ..

I did have a Pro Burner frame and used a laid back post in it, but not braced. I rarely sat down on it so had it low, but it was the best post for poppin' a wheelie. It was a checkered Elina post :daumenhoch:

Not disputing the knee room Ady mate, just that you said fitting a layback stopped them bending :) You must have been using those fluted alloy ones for the Mk1 Burner :)
Ady:
No worries bud.. :daumenhoch:
I was fed up back then with this shite ultra burner everything failing till I bought the rebel frame kit which came with the braced seat post..
This bike was indestructible ..
Trust me it had a battering back then... 8)
retrogeezer:
lol..... I never actually owned a Burner back in the day - thankfully!
