i always follow sean's guide and build /true them myself,usually while whating tv-find the thereputic :uglystupid2:

I've tried a few times. The system works, but I must start off wrong, as the spokes always end up crossing by the valve hole. Unfortunately I only discover this after lacing the whole wheel. Scratched a few rims taking the spokes out, so just leave it to the bike shop now. The same with chains. Wrestled for over an hour putting a chain on once... Never again!

Would always have a go myself before paying someone. Those ace rims I did were my first lacing attempt and it was easy following the guide on here. Truing took a little time but it's a logical process and satisfying when you get it done :daumenhoch:
