HELP PLEASE

OK so I am parting out the rl20II so I start to take it apart when the stem decided not to come out very easily at all undid the stem bolt as you do wouldn't budge so then I take the stem bolt right out and oh yes oh now I have a four piece forklifter stem is this normal oh and the Base is still stuck in forks

Screw the long bolt back into the wedge, piece of wood on top of bolt to protect it the give it a tap / wallop to knock the wedge down from the shaft and it should pull out. Top looks to be push fit so refit it all and bollock it up to push the stem back on.
Or wait till Clint pipes up.......

Is it a fakelifter?
If it's a tight fit put the stem in the oven and the shaft in the freezer should help getting them back together a little :)

put it back together and put an old seat post in the stem where the bars should go and twist like fook

So Clint are you telling me it's a fake stem ?? Does this happen a lot or not
