 :) Nipple washers.Never seen them on BMX rims before..Try SJS Cycles.com,they have allsorts of wheelbuilders goodies:)

Thanks for the advice.

I think people use them on Zeds to avoid damage and give a bit more strength. It's the first time I've built a set so I'm just going with what I've found out on here ;)
