Here's a photo... As it was bare metal i just put some odd silver paint i had on it to stop it going rusty. It's already started to rust a bit though in a few weeks.

Is the bit in the middle body filler still or is that the state of the bare metal? I still reckon it will sand out. It will need some elbow grease but I reckon less than an hours work. start with 80 until you have removed the deep marks and then work upwards through the grades til you reach 600...this will more than enough for priming and painting :daumenhoch:

No the middle part is the original paint (just with some silver spray on the top). The two grinder marks had filler on them but wasn't mixed very well as i was able to pick it off with a small screwdriver.
