That's it, I'm outta here <<< Letters from Iwo Jima vol 2 >>>
oldschoolace:
Its seems the theory that japan might be awash with oldschool parts is a duff one, or at least as far as i have found so far.
The second hand knickers in packets myth is deffo true though ;)
By more luck than judgement i have unearthed these though :daumenhoch:
oldschoolace:
Oh, well maybe more than just the one seatclamp :D
Jaymz:
dib dobs a pair of knickers
Mikku:
Great job there Clint! :daumenhoch: Though you're definitely right - you've far, far greater chances of scoring old school electronica here than BMX parts. In fact I've often thought about starting a business along those lines. ::)
oldschoolace:
Can easily pick you up a pair Jaymz ;)
Friday saw us checking out Yokosuka and we almost immediately stumbled upon a tidy little skate park :daumenhoch:
Then just as we went to set of we noticed a great little track lurking behind the single person tennis walls
Even had a mini track for the kids
Today saw us heading back to the abandoned bike shop to leave a note for anyone who may have access :daumenhoch:
A little side building had hundreds of tyres of various sizes stacked chest high and i spotted a couple of boxed framesets in the back but could not make out any name on the box
Pressing on towards the beach we found a little bike shop with a few faded looking packets on pegboards. Sadly there wasnt anything noteworthy but the owner had a cool little panaracer toolbox
Rice paddys are fookin everywhere once you get out of the city, quite often randomly between industrial units and the like. Never knew they had mini tractors to actually plant the seedling
My kinda skateboard was spotted further up the road ;)
After some serious riding we finally made it to the beach
Heading home we spotted this weird thing
Then called into this surf shop for a mooch. The owner was ace and surprised when we told him our route. Just over 51 miles for the day :D
