1983 SE Quadangle, The Dark Destroyer.DONE!
rooski:
I acquired this fine machine along with a few other bikes a few months ago.
The aim was to keep the bike basically the same but change a few parts around, and not spend any money, using parts I already had.
I had an 84 quad a while back, and so thought I would use some of the parts off that and also stuff that had never been used on any other bike.
Firstly, Renthal copies were fitted, so I thought put REAL Renthals on!, I had some that I had not used on anything...............
Grips were ame tri new font, swapped out for og Mushis that were on the old Quad.
Stem was a nice Tuf Neck Ace, bit late for the bike, so I had a nice SR Aerox, these were fitted to stock Quads, right colour n all.
Headset was a Neco I think, recent manufacture, I had a Hatta speedline doing nothing so.........
Chainwheel was a sugino, nice but wanted to change it, so Mirage powerdisk, and pro neck ringpiece off the old Quad.
And of course, full SE camo flite padset, as on the Ripper.
Will change a few more small parts, chain, cable, brake pads, maybe tyres and add a plate, that's all for now folks!
Thanks for looking!
