MK travel

I'm looking at getting the train to MK but I've never took a bike on one before
just after some pointers for the journey if anyone's got any any advice be very much appreciated

It will be Virgin Trains then Stu, you'll need to reserve your bike space. I didn't used to, but have been stopped on a few occasions and asked where my reservation confirmation was. I got away with it, but you're always risking the chance of meeting a jobsworth who'll knock you back.

Not got my tickets myself yet. I did use the trainline.com for a few years, but last year, just randomly checked ticket prices on Virgintrains and got a return for £14, didn't even get the return as I got a lift off Rugger. You just need to be flexible on what time of day you travel, to keep the cost as low as poss.

Nah,going Saturday, only an hour and half from Manchester,I thought it wouldn't be that quick
