Can I get an ID on these chrome forks was told they were torker?
threaders:
Hi,
I had these up for sale in here with a torker 280 frame, but was told that the forks might not be torker. I've taken down the sale post and am hoping some of you guys can help me out. Here are some pics
I was told that torker forks have longer dropouts? They are super light so would have thought they would be better than a set of generic forks but who knows. I need to sell the torker 280 frame and these forks so any info would be great and a rough value to. Cheers for looking, Jonathan :)
CustardLips:
Not a definite i.d but they've got a look of early Elf forks. ???
rooski:
how thick are the dropouts?
o/s drops are usually about 1/8" or 3mm thick, these look more beefy, mid school type drops.
threaders:
Hi, thanks for the posts, just measured and the dropouts are 3mm thick :) cheers Jonathan
Gnarlyscoots:
Definitely not a Torker fork. The legs are more 'flared' at the top on a Torker fork, and old school generally. I would got that being an Elf Fork, around 89/90 ish.
