GT Experts - differences between world tour and pro performer?

Years ago a guest made an efford to upload os-bmx magazines on BMX-ReCollection. This could either be googled or be found in the awesome stickies here:

I would say Gary Turner. If I understood that correctly it was him and his son Craig who founded GT-Bicycles way before google existed. :D
