Honest and considered feedback needed
oldschoolace:
I've been working on a design for an oldschool bmx specific pocket tool. Something small but handy for nipping up lose nuts, sockets, spokes etc while out on a ride. It's something along this sort of idea but shaped like a classic gusset or dropout :daumenhoch:
Question is would anyone consider buying one and what sort of money would you honestly be happy to spend/ have your missus spend on it as a present?
the tools out there range from a £10 to £60
cheers all
Clint :)

The concept is great but you need to have the leverage . That about all I would take on a ride
Common sizes for a ride are.
Spanners
10mm
14mm
15mm
Allen keys
6mm
5mm
That Swan Guy:
don't forget 8mm spanner for nipping up brake cables
Dark Diggler:
leatherman Mako, very nice. get a unique O/S bmx one out for £20 max and I'd say its a winner (£30 for the Ti mako ATM)

Looking at having all the common sizes so 5,6,8,9,10,14 and fifteen with maybe one or two more or the odd imperial in the mix. Will have a wheel nipple tool, 2 hex drivers foe the most common headset/chaining/brake bolts as well as a few other tools :daumenhoch:
