Pedal pins

Picklez:
Hi,

Does anyone know anywhere I can get some replacement pedal pins from for DX pedals. Not the screw in type more the old school Shimano DX press fit ones. Obviously I could use a dowel of a suitable diameter and cut to length but I'm really looking for ones with the diamond knurling on.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Cheers.

I believe the knurled pins came as extras in the GT dx style pedal sets, so you could add more pins to the pre drilled bodies for more grip (rather than replacements)

I may have some in my spares at work. Not there till next week now but you will have to bug me as my short term memory has fooked off  ::)

You're an absolute star, thank you  :4_17_5:

I'll drop you a pm next week, though I can't say my short term memory's much better  ;)

Thanks again.

Pete

I've heard of people using bits of rivet cut down, or this kind of thing https://www.accu.co.uk/en/dowel-pins/36318-HDP-3-32-3-8-A1?uk_google_shopping=1&c=3&gclid=CLSxlp6f-M8CFQoA0wodRPEOGw

think the size here is right but I am using my memory so will add my disclaimer now :teef:

Griff,

Thanks for that info. I'll catchup with Steve next week, but if he's not had any luck finding any spares will try them out, after a quick measurement  :daumenhoch:
