Dyeing a Lightning Bolt seat
(1/1)
brimfull:
I know there's a sticky about this but where do you guys get a pan big enough to fit a bloody seat in? I looked a right knob last week going around Wilko,Tesco and the like with a seat trying to fit it into saucepans lol
The don't really wanna spend loads on a big stockpot to use it once and knacker it with dye if I'm honest but I will if I have to, so I wonderd if anyone had tried using a metal bucket to do it instead?
Cheers Steve

How about something like this:
http://www.shop-equip.com/catering-equipment-en/cookware/food-storage/gastronorm-stainless-steel/interlevin-gastronorm-1-3-pan-100mm-deep.html
I haven't used one myself but would have thought it would work just as well. Dimensions are 325x354x100mm and at most a Kashimax aero (as an example) is at most 270x140x70mm, and it's a good price.

You should worry, I once carried a set of candy red Performer bars around Boots trying to colour match their nail varnish so I could fix a chip!!!!
