The black set I had tried the oven pride method would not touch it..
Had to use paint remover which worked a treat.. fistblump

blue ones I've just stripped were definitely paint.

i've stripped blue and gold and both were paint, also bought new silver ones a couple of times bitd and they were just bare alloy.
