Vision Street Wear suede high tops
richiebozza:
Word up!
Hands down my favourite era is the dawn of street riding in the late 80s, Craig Campbell went to America, 2hip, Club Homeboy, Grasso, El Cid, all that good stuff!
You flick through any copy of Freestylin from those years and anyone who is anyone is wearing Vision Street Wear hightops...so earlier this year I grabbed myself a pair...however 6 months later they are falling apart!
Were they always poor quality?
Were they built for gripping pedals and not for everyday wear?
Is Vision now owned by someone else who are pushing out cheapo rubbish versions these days?
What gives?
Yours dissapointed,
Rich.

:) Skate shoes.ToddTwist & Skatepool have old stock, mostly early 90s than 80s..Sports Direct licensed the brand here about 5 years ago and their shoes are flimsy crap.

Yes and I have since checked out Amazon reviews of the latest Vision Street Wear shoes and it would seem that most agree the new ones are of much poorer quality, thinner material, less well built etc
Thanks for the tip on Todd Twist...sadly they don't have big sizes :(
deeman:
The 80's ones are very tough but the new ones are just replicas with rubbish thin soles which wear out in an instant. Ebay.com is a good place to look out for originals.... :daumenhoch:
richiebozza:
Yeah there are some sweet Vision's on Ebay - trouble is the only ones my size are £400 ! :crybaby:
