I'm already planning on taking my bike with us when we go away this year :D Need to find a boot mount thing for a mini.

Slightly off-topic but I bought a cheap Aldi one, drilled 2nr additional holes in it to align it correctly and bought some air-conditioning pipe lagging to cover the steel tubes. I drove 2,800 miles last summer at toll-road speeds with these three on the back no problem. I had the straps anchored to the boot hinges and an additional set in case they failed arount the boot, but it was set low enough to get under the 1.8m restriction for the Chunnel and kept the bikes in the slip-stream of the car. Got to be honest, I didn't even notice they were there most of the journey :coolsmiley:
