Buying parts

Been looking for a few parts recently, nothing exotic or out of the ordinary. A OPC, spider and some rims. Despite numerous posts on here and the Facebook pages I’m still looking. Where have  all the parts gone? Are people holding on to them scared to let them go incase they can’t get hold of them again? I’m just trying to do a simple budget build, hate to think I was looking for something out of the ordinary!
