can someone not simply buy easy available t6 aloominoominoo tube heavy wall from ebay
-300mm - £4.50 delivered
then buy new chineesium 25.4mm seat posts with the micro top

cut the top off the 25.4 - spin the internal slug down 3.2 - 1/8
or a 16th a side
press it into the tube


\OR - does anyone work in a bike shop that owner a micrometer
