Odyssey Gyro issue dates?

Does anyone know when the Odyssey G3 Gyro came out?

Also how many different gyros did Odyssey do prior to the G3, and what were those years of issue? My guesswork is Odyssey Gyro 1st gen was 80's, then the Gyro 2 was early 90's?
