84 GHP Trix Build
R Al:
I still have a few builds on the slow burner but had pretty much done everything I wanted, sold a few and decided on the keepers.
Being a big GHP fan there was only one frameset that was going to change that but I had pretty much given hope on getting one ..... until recently !!!
Just after Christmas a GHP Trix came up for sale from Picklez, a few messages later and a deal was done and I picked up this beauty. :4_17_5:

Just love the double drop outs

It's a July 84 model so one of the first produced, I started to do some digging on how to build it up.
New frame first mentioned in May 84

Then I came across an old Vans advert showing Martin Aparijo on what I assume is a Trix.

and so I had a plan for the build

Liking that! Love the rear standers too and a thick top tube for an 84. Look forward to seeing this built :daumenhoch:
