So is there actually a brand that will work without any hassle like we used to use bitd  without any probs??  before they took all the ingredients that made them work!

Starchem is the brand Carl... Synstrip is the product.  :daumenhoch:

I only use starchems and would never bother with nitromors, but I've only used it on paint and have heard it can be done with powder.

I've got forks and bars which have been powdered albeit at a average standard but before I go and slap starchems all over it I wanted to know if it'll do the job. Its only on a everyday rider and I can put up with the powder job but as I've got starchems sitting around I thought I'd have a go.

Starchem synstrip ordered. Hopefully that will get the last of it off 👍

Should do mate I've used it on powder loads.

Put it on & then place the frame in a bin bag or one of those bags you get with oven pride . it'll help keep the synstrip wet so it works better for longer .

You don't want it to dry out otherwise you'll have to apply more ...  :daumenhoch: Also do it in a ventilated room as you dont want to be breathing too much of that stuff in ...
