SH101:
I`ve had this idea for a while ... I`ve got an old Firebird frame in the loft but the forks went missing years ago . I don`t expect to ever find any replacements so I thought why not make some ugly freestyle forks out of something easily available ?
I got these for free locally : NOS Raleigh Burner I believe , they are only steel but the bike won`t be ridden so they are ideal ...

Right , let`s drill some holes ...

No going back now ! I cut some tube and made a quick mock up .
This is the look I`m going for ...

SH101:
The finished pegs ... they are made from an old shop fitting I had kicking about .

SH101:
Okay , I`m happy with that . I welded up the holes in the dropouts ( they are going to get a bit of a reshape ) and tack welded the pegs to the forks just to check everything was working . A quick check with a test wheel as well ...
