Hutch Expert Build
Candellara:
Hi Chaps
Perhaps Mod's can delete the thread I posted in the Old School Race section
I've an 82 Hutch expert frame that i'm building and as a complete newbie - have lots of questions
First up - bars. Does anyone know the width and rise of Hutch Pro-Racer bars? In the absence of finding some genuine Hutch bars, i've seen some bars that are 26" with a 9" rise and wondered how close this is to the originals

Next question :)
Cheers

I'm building a Hutch at the moment, started a thread 'Hutch Pro Raider build' a week or so ago that proved about as popular as a ginger haired stepson. Actually i think Mr.D was the only person who commented! :LolLolLolLol:
I have found that 'Pro Raider' parts are a lot cheaper than other Hutch parts, and their still 'Hutch', think my bars cost about a £100 rather than the extortionate prices Pro Racer/expert bars go for.
MrD:
Its just that I did soooooo much research when building my 1st Hutch that I have acquired plenty of info that is filed away, If it helps others out then I'll put my 2pence in.
different people bring different flavours when it comes to brands, some want what they had as a kid and others want what they couldn't afford as a kid or what their mate had.
Had a Burner 1st (who didn't, think my Bro had an "Iron Horse") then a year later I raced on a DB silver streak but then street rode a Hutch and a Ripper until motorbikes took over, blah blah blah off topic
cheers
