Chilli Rinse:
Any opinions on brake levers not matching the calipers. I can’t make my mind up on this little detail and don’t want to shed out for nos red Shimano DX levers from the states.  Can only find one red Shimano SX lever on the bay. Have a look at my little mock up (this is how I have to visualize stuff sometimes) I know :idiot2: and let me know your thoughts. It’s for a chrome Motobecane mx113 (I know they should be blue bits) with red and gold prism decals. Red tyres, hubs, seat, stem, calipers and grips. Gold seat clamp, chainring and pedals. How about polished levers ?

I have mix matched levers and calipers depending on build.

I do like the Shimano SX levers too as they are two tone!

Call me old fashioned by I always think levers should match calipers as should seats and grips  ;)  in short the pillows should always match the Duvet! if you see what I mean lol  ;)
