(1/3) > >>

therock:
Could anyone tell me if there s different size bottom bracket cups . I'm really struggling to get them in . It's as though there to big to go in and I dont want to do any damage . The frames an 84 torker 280x . Any help would be greatly appreciated.

BMX1973:
I'm sure it would be a standard Tange/Tioga American Bottom Bracket. I don't know the size of cups but all, if not most are standard. :-\

Could someone else confirm if this is the correct one! This is for a One Piece Crank, or are you fitting a Three Piece? :-\

I have normally pressed them in with a long metal rod with a block of wood on each end. Do one at a time though.

That Swan Guy:
Some can tight. I use vice and slowly increase the pressure making sure they’re square to the frame at every twist

therock:
Yes it's a one piece . Iv never known there to be different size cups . Maybe it's just me being to cautious

Chilli Rinse:
If it’s recently been painted or powdered the bottom bracket shell could possibly need reeming out. Just a thought though.
