That is exact reason why I went for them. If you want an old school flavor I would recommend them. Nice and comfortable for long rides.   :daumenhoch: I was only looking at the old school brands. I liked the GT 26 and the Redline 26 too. At the time I was buying I couldn't find either.  :)

I wouldn't go for a 24" as far too small, size wise they ride like a 20". The 29" are far too big and only o.k for a straight line, difficult on tight turns.  :-\ When I started looking I looked on several forums. The 26" always seem to come out on top. They also sell out quicker than the 24" & 29". The group 1 I have is now only available in the 24" or 29".  :daumenhoch:
