put your anodised part in a clear plastic bag.
add some oven pride run your hands over the part (from outside the bag ) the the colour will come off.
youll be able to see when its ready, it;ll be just a couple of mins tops before the colour comes off & the alloy starts to turn black as thats it being eaten by the oven pride.

Thought about doing that.

Was thinking of going the Caustic Soda route to get into the hard to reach areas.

Sure there was a thread about it somewhere.
