It's some kind of scam or just someone trolling. Look at the bidders on some of these very overpriced items, the same names crop up and typically new accounts as they only have low feedback scores. Dunno what the game is, but I'd be amazed if all these items aren't back up for sale following the end of the current sale.

Unless it's someone very rich and equally as dumb?

Same 2 bidders on those Araya's. Feedbacks of 2 and 7, bigging it up from the 'normal' price of around ?200 to over ?900. Dodgy as fk
