Yeah I was warned about them, that's why I took it off of my Blue Max and put a straight post on. Have a look at my ? DIY Mod? post, that's what came off and it's not going back on  :LolLolLolLol: looking for a internally braced tioga I reckon, possibly a snake.  The Odyssey will have to do til then.

I think it's a proper Viscount Trick Top. Not sure I'm liking the look now though. I've got my eye on something on fleabay and I have a slightly smaller than standard white hard shell seat which might work. I'll defo be in touch if I go for the og look though. Thanks Carl

Oh yeah, the guy I bought the bike off is looking for a pair of bars to replace bent ones with. I wished him good luck but he thinks he might have a pair. Let's wait and see !

I'm sure Griff retrieved the burnt seat post the next morning from the ashes - there was a piccy but I haven't got that one  ;D

The seatpost was cherished for years after that, until it finally found a 'forever home' as part of a trophy Stevo made for the Survivor & Rust category at MK

I remember Steve's Survivor & Rust Trophies - didn't realise the legendary post was part of one of them ! Who now own's that piece of RAD history then ?  :-\

You got a piccy of it's charred remains ? There were deffinitely a few pics of it BITD as I remeber.
