Firebird Freestyler Ideas?

Good call the white vinegar.  The MX 1000 bits are starting to look a lot better.

I ordered a large storage box for doing the frame and that arrived today.  The only issue I have at the moment is I can't get the bottom bracket nut off the crank at the power disc side.  I can't find the correct size spanner, I've carefully tried with adjustable plumber pliers but want to try too hard and damage the power disc.

Does it have a notch it in? or square sides?

I had the one with the notch in, and man it fought me. I used this.

And did it on the lawn. I had to hit it so hard with the hammer to dislodge it that the chainwheel buried itself in the dirt lol. Thankfully it was steel (Mongoose 90s).

If it's the flat sided type you may need to put it in a vice.

There's no notch, it just needs a bigger spanner than I have although I've got some bike multi-tool spanners somewhere that might hopefully be big enough.

I'll keep that in mind about the decals.  I'm going to at least needs some for the forks as I must have removed these at some point.
