First of 2021, but as usual there is a twist in the logic

Midschoolfool:
Sweet !.

When I bought the sprocket for this a buddy pointed out there was a bash for it on Ebay. Unfortunately it cost more than the sprocket, so I stuck it in the watch list and passed. Today I got one of those emails where you get 20% off etc. So I grabbed it. Big beefy bugger.

Midschoolfool:
Why I hate laybacks.

Will work on the pedals tomorrow. Then it's just fitting the bash and it's done.

Midschoolfool:
Bash on.

If I ever say I am going to do more pedals slap me or something. These have taken me longer than I could strip and paint a frame FFS.

They need a good clean in thinners now before I can start painting them. The shitty part is done now though. I even smoothed off any damage.

Midschoolfool:
Put what was left of the old primer onto these yesterday. Just to stop them oxidising and causing me more work.

Have ordered some carbide bits to try and get the stuck pins out, because a regular drill bit lasted about ten seconds. I only really need to get one out, due to the pin pattern I have in mind.

Chilli Rinse:

Got those on Ebay last night. Cost me 25 quid. Which is about 1/5 of what Primos are going for right now. Going to try and remove the pins (as I have tons of new ones). Then strip them down and paint them red (got all the paint and prep stuff).

I liked the look of these when I saw them on your thread. So when I saw a nos pair of the magnesium version in black up for grabs the other day, I bagged them for one of my newer rides. Cool 👍🏼
