Yes it was. Black Pads. I remember burning my fingers with Nitomors removing the black of the rims. Such a shame I snapped the frame

Chilli Rinse:
Black Z mags and all black Comp III’s now fitted. I unearthed some black Formos tech 3 levers, but I’ve had to order some cheap painted steel Lee Chi calipers. They are pretty much what’s on there at the moment, you know the type. I need to find a seat post, freewheel and some black cable outers that I know I have. I’m going for the stealthy look I guess.
Taipan:
Really like the base model bmx's from the 80's :daumenhoch: seem to be a fare few appearing lately and priced sensibly not like some people who find a Raleigh Burner in a scrap pile and stick it on ebay for £800+ :uglystupid2: nothing against Raleigh burners as in fact I'm looking for a MK2 mini burner for my grandson :daumenhoch: (message me if you got one thx)

All done, here are a few pics.
Parts added are as follows…
New Darxide tech III levers. Formos were saved for another build.
New Oury pyramid grips
Nos Belvin cables
Nos Lee Chi painted steel calipers

I cleaned and used everything else that came with the bike. OA bath for the saddle rails and headset parts. Degreased the chain and threw it all back together.
