Lee, you need to get a seat clamp for a smaller post, the type you get on kids bikes (no, NOT a BMX!), I might have one in the shed from my boy's old Trek 16" bike and will have a look at the weekend for you  :daumenhoch:

Ah, I see the probem now, not at the seat end but the seatpost clamp end Doh!  There must be a way of tightening it up though as bitd I don't remember getting too many people coming back to the shop with that problem, lots with cracks around the seatpost but no problems with the seatpost moving in the frame  :daumenhoch:

Dingobmxer:
both my Floval and Ripper xl have the smaller posts and the seats seam to fit fine
 :) DINGO :)

se:
I've got a 13/16ths Pro neck on my Ripper and to be honest didn't even think about the seat not fitting when I got it. Fitted an Elina Lightning Bolt to it and just tightened the thing until it was snug. It took a bit of work but the seat grips the post fine.

Another top tip I fell across today when trying to make something that could substitute for a Uni seat shim. You know those plastic tubes that bathroom sealant and caulk come in? Get a used on, slice a 1 inch strip off the bottom with a kitchen knie, then cut a tab out. Worked better for me than cutting up a beer can and trying to get it to spiral right.
