Flatland Bikes - advice wanted
« on: October 24, 2006, 12:29 AM »
Hi guys,

I'm thinking of getting another bike to try and re-learn some of my old school flatland tricks.  The question I have is, is it worth me getting a new school flatland bike or old school.  Bearing in mind, I want to do decades, cherrypickers, framewhips, squeakers etc... and not all the new mental spinning stuff.

I saw that KHE on another recent thread on here, but not sure that would suit me. Doesn't look very cherrypicker friendly and I think I'd also want a platform.
I don't know too much about new or mid school flatland bikes, so any advice would be appreciated.

Mate, i'd go with a Kappa Starsky, i think Zippy has one for sale still. Have a look in the For Sale section and check it. New school with double top tube. And Kappas rule!
