chrishil1:
going to have to be bike shop, fed up with it.

no its not a cassette type.
Got a atom freewheel which wont budge.

dont think its going to move with a slot in pin type socket, 1 of the slots a little bit chewed. not really bad though
hopefully they will have something that will fit like chain and lock.

selfpreservation:
if all else fails you can crush it in a vice bassically you take the outer part of the freewheel , the cog if you will havef then grip the inner part in a vice ( not too tight or you will wreck the threads on the wheel) then just turn the wheel anticlockwise and it will come off

phantom photon:
My local bike shop removes freewheels for free  :daumenhoch: Usually end up buying something while I'm there just so that I don't feel so guilty about using them so much  :LolLolLolLol:

sawzall:
i welded a 12" bar to freewheel so i didnt move then use bar as lever, heat from welding will also help to free it off :daumenhoch:

oberonspacefruit:
i have never had a freewheel that wont come off in a vice. and ve had some right twats.
