Not just my first build....
retrorb:
Guys,
Apologies for the dodgy pictures and yes I'm doing my kitchen at the moment....
Anyway, this isn't just my first build its my first BMX full stop. Some of you may remember when I first came on saying that I only had a passed on Grifter when I was young and always begged my mum for a BMX.
I have one now and I just can't stop looking at it! I'm not going to say how much it cost me to do - as I started it when I was a bit wet behind the ears but I still love it and looking forward to bringing it to Birmingham 2nd December.
It may not be the most sought after bike in the world (I think it is the frame only version of the 600a) but I love it....again!
Redline 102b frame (1983) NOS
Redline Forks
Hatta MX100 Headset
Redline V-Bars NOS/powered not sure
Redline Single Pinch 401's with sealed BB
UKAI Blue Shinesides/Suzue Sealed Hubs
Redline 44T Chainwheel (Linear) - I have a bubble but I think this one suits the bike better
Kashimax Aero NOS
MX1000/Tech3 NOS
GT Layback
Redline Forklifter NOS
COMP III NOS
Footjaws NOS
Tange Grips NOS
Still needs a chain to be fitted and brake cable
Vinyl Redline padset arriving soon but I may save this as it looks great without it I think
I am grinning!
Will put better pics in museum when fully finished
Cheers
Rob
PS: Next build is Jim's Chrome Skyway - have all the bits just need the time
