powder coaters

dropped frame to my reguklar powder coaters in gildersome yeasterday and he tells me he has chrome powder now anyone seen any done is it any good .he hasnt used it yet so i couldnt see any results .but in theory it sounds useful and a lot cheaper than chroming as it is only 45.00 for frame forks and bars .pretty cheap to me .

picking frame up next week so may just get him to do summat small to have look at .chainring bars or summat .will post pic if i get something done .

he did tell me on the powder box it says chrome nickel and has been told not over shiny has to be laquered to make shine proper good ,he does do the laquer but im presuming more laquer more shine ????
