It was that sort of pic of Stu that made him such an icon :4_17_5:, Thanks GTO,
Brenn you was so right about the bike changing every race ???,
The only constant was the frame and forks and colour scheme, unless he rode a blue one????

Keith wont part with them despite my efforts over the last 12 months :'( He did however let me have the tyre off of Stus bike ;)
Its been a strange year and most of my bikes are in storage round at 796s house (thanks mate) Except the Stu replica, which has pride of place in the new place :4_17_5:

Calm down you lot, and hello by the way, i'm new to this site you know!!

Just about to leave to go to the US for a couple of weeks but when i get back i'll dig out any bits left from Stu's bike & post the pics.

The pedals on it were real old school items even in 1981 & werent the ones shown earlier on this thread, he had them because they were the only pedals big enough for his feet!!

The wheels were quite special, much older era than the bike and the hubs are campagnolo, pretty sure i still have the brake on my torker so when i see it i'll tell what make it is.

He also signed loads of his trophies of his & gave them to me which i still have!!

Didnt know about the big 'C' thing though, can anyone tell me more???

Keith
