electobooty:
Anyone got any tips as I have a stem in need of resto but would like some pointers on where to start.
Can't see me getting the result steve got with his tuf neck though :-\ :-\
Steve P:
What stem are you trying to restore and is it painted or anodised :)
Steve
electobooty:
Plain alloy but quite battered and old
I know its a lot of elbow but what is best to rub down with then polish
Steve P:
Wet 'n' dry in soapy water normally does the trick . . . finish off with 1000 or 2000 grade before polishing :)
Got any pics ?
Steve
