New Old School : new as in never fitted or used ?

so if you was selling a complete bike, made of nos parts in the for sale section, then split the bike up, the parts you are then selling should not be considered nos ? ? ?

fitted but never used, is it still nos ??   I'd say it aint  no matter what the condition

new ,minty fresh as the day it was hatched ,scrummy     :smitten:  as good as new  =  nos

gt0733:
my opinion is as soon as the packet gets opened  it's no longer NOS. i've bought quite a few NOS components, none will be NOS after my bikes are complete, but the wording "built with NOS" would apply.
a NOS hub is no longer NOS when laced into a wheel, it would then be "built using NOS"

...............or something like that :daumenhoch:

dordymush:
as above  :daumenhoch:.

New Old Stock, sealed packet never used. Its old stock from the stores, but new because its never been used. Although if the item is in an opened packet or box, you could say the box is used, but the item is still NOS!
