how do you get freewheel off
elmo:
ok its a suntour freewheel,i have got the four prong tool but does not budge turning anti clockwise is that correct? is there anything i should be taking off the hub that is keeping it secure :uglystupid2:
sparky:
Yep, anti-clockwise and a little persistance. I sometimes use a block of wood and then lightly hammer the freewheel to break any seals.
Good luck
elmo:
little persistance faulty one is off now but had to hit it really hard.i am sure i used a screwdriver and hammer when i was a kid and they came off no probs, cheers for letting me know i was going the right way :)
spicybob:
Used an air chisel at me mates garage :LolLolLolLol:
brass monkey!:
