heres one i painted, came out alright.  i used gloss 2pac white, didn't bother doin the detailed bits in different colours...

I had this one sprayed to match the frame, masked out the polished raised circle that the gt logo's in just a bit. Took the masking tape off  and to get rid the paint bleed got a small flat wood block with some fine sandpaper on.  Masked out the outside a bit incase I was a clumsy bugger and slowly went at it with the flat block. It came out perfect, really precise.

I gotta go with the powder or paint. Powder will last a long time and you can sand it to reveal the GT logo.

If you do go with paint, make sure that you let it dry for a good long time before sanding the logo, I had to redo one that I didn't let sit and the paint gummed up the sandpaper.
