give me some tips/advise on how to fit a new chain ? What tools do I need ? And how do I connect the chain together ? I am new to all of this restore business and want to work out how to do it myself as opposed to taking it to my local bicycle shop...

PS-I am fitting it to an 84 Looptail PK Ripper.

buy yourself a chain splitter from halfords. will make the job a lot easier!!!

is it a split link chain?  Chain link extractor is always handy for getting length right ;)
