Defining a Different Model / Generation
(1/1)
greentoad:
Hi all
I have been working on a new theory for quite a while.
What are your opinions on different models / generations.
When can you classify one component different from another. Is it by number, shape, colour etc and does it have to be a large or small change?
Wikipedia - a generation can refer to stages of successive improvement in the development of a technology
Oxford - of a more advanced stage of technology than previous models or systems
Opinions please.
Thanks
J.

I would say when there is a noticable change in Design, if you were to take the Haro Master, there would be a lot of defferent models & some look the same until you look closer.
Take the 84 model, these all look very simular, but there are small changes.
Then there was a big change when the 85 Master came out.
But if you compare the 84 Master to say a late 80s early 90s with the Bashgard they don't even look close.
