how long do i leave tuffs in dye??

really need some advise here.
ive read all the threads about dying tuffs and have decided
to dye mine from white to black.
ive followed all the instructions.
1.5kg salt, 3 pots of dylon boiling water per wheel.
but ive had them soaking for over an hour now and
they are just a dark grey??? :-[
how long does it take for them to go black?
coz im really starting to worry now :'(

i havent tried white to black i usualy do a darkish already coluour to black
they might need loads more boiling water salt and dye ,r you might not get them black

nah theses are a really tie dye greeny grey :'( :'(
im gutted i think ive ruined mt tuffs :-[ :-[ :( :(
i did put a posting on here last month asking if white-black could
be done and several people said it ok?? ::)
