stripping off chrome plate?

i want to strip the chrome off of my profile crank arms,

is there any way to do it apart from taking them to a sand blaster?

i dont want to weaken them by stripping anything other than the chrome,

any advice would be appreciated!

take them to a chromers .they will reverse the chroming proses
in acid and electric charge .it wont mark the arms ,just lets the
chrome fall of.
